What is the Technology Trade-In Program?
The Technology Trade-In Program is part of our commitment to develop a more circular, lower carbon economy. It offers Logitech customers an easy way to clear out old devices and the peace of mind in knowing the devices will be responsibly reused or recycled.

Does Logitech administer the program?
No. Logitech contracts with PowerON Services, Inc. to administer and manage the Technology Trade-In Program.

How do I receive a quote?
Click the "Request Trade-In" link in the main navigation or "Request Trade-In Value" button. Enter your contact information on the website and upload the filled in form. We'll email a quote in 1-2 business days. Review and accept the quote using the eSign feature. The quote is valid for 30 days.

Does the quoted value ever expire?
Yes. Quotes are valid for 30 days. After a quote expires, you may request another quote.

How is the value of my equipment determined?
The value depends on a variety of factors, including the demand for your specific item in the secondary electronics market and its condition. Based on the information you provide, PowerON determines the estimated fair market value of your device and a quote is provided.

What products are eligible for the program?
In general, any conference solution, conference camera, webcam, headset, keyboard, mouse, laptop, desktop, computer, mini PCs, tablet, smartphone, smart watch, media player, display, server, and network equipment - may qualify.

What if I receive a zero-value quote?
We will recycle zero-value devices for free.*

Can I utilize PowerON Services, Inc. for offices outside the United States?
No. The program is currently only offered to businesses located in the United States.

Is there a minimum quantity for pick-up?
This program is meant for businesses with multiple devices to trade-in. For individual consumers with small quantities of devices they can be taken back to Best Buy or request a pre-paid shipping label at https://www.logitech.com/en-us/sustainability/recycling.html by clicking “Electronics”.

How will I be paid for my equipment?
After uploading proof of purchase of new Logitech devices, you will receive a check or Visa® Reward Card1 equal to the trade-in value.

Where can I use my Visa® Reward Card?
Your Visa® Reward Card may be used wherever Visa® Debit cards are accepted online or over the phone.

How will my Visa® Reward Card be sent?
Your Visa® Reward Card will be sent to the email address you provided during the trade-in process. The email is sent from our payment vendor's email address (reward@virtualrewardcenter.com) and contains a "Redeem My Virtual Card!" link. Click this link to claim your Visa® Reward Card.

How long do I have to claim my Visa® Reward Card?
You MUST claim your Visa® Reward Card within 180 days of the receiving the email with the link to claim your reward.

Do my reward funds expire?
Yes. Reward funds expire after 12 months.

Can my equipment be returned after payment has been issued?
No. Once payment is fulfilled, the item will not be returned.

What should I do with my old equipment before shipping to PowerON?
Remove any account passwords from your product. Search your product's manufacturer support page assistance. PowerON recommends that you perform a complete backup and data wipe (erasure) of all the information on your old product. PowerON and Logitech assume no responsibility for loss or confidentiality of personal data on equipment.

What happens to my equipment after I trade it in?
PowerON will test and assess the equipment to determine if it qualifies for reuse. Qualifying equipment, tested in working condition, will be sold in the secondary electronics market as "used." Equipment that does not qualify for reuse will be recycled by a contracted recycling supplier in an environmentally responsible manner.

What happens to my personal data?
PowerON's data erasure process includes complete data removal to industry standards (NIST 800-88, HIPAA, and PII compliant). PowerON recommends that you perform a complete backup and data wipe (erasure) of all the information on your old computer.

Is PowerON certified to handle old devices responsibly?
Yes. PowerON has ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2-2013 certifications.

*PowerON recycles zero-value devices for free using their network of downstream partners to process end-of-life electronics equipment. Material is separated based on a "reuse, recover, dispose" hierarchy of responsible management strategies and covers management of both on-site and off-site activities.
